This bobcat in the Preserve keeps an eye on photographer Ken Bombaci, Jr. of Essex (winter of 2007).

I have been against any building on the Preserve. I have lived here since 1965, and am an avid outdoor person who likes nature, likes to walk in parks, ( in the winter mostly, likes animals, worked in tree business and own and run a small lawn business.
I can not comprehend someone taking a bull dozer to this property. Housing, septic systems, golf course, fertilizers, mcuh added runoff of forementioned, and water over roads collecting oil, etc. I’m sure there are a lot of animals in the Preserve, lets not let developers wreck their homes, also destroying woodland, pools, our children and grandchildren’s happiness that would take them through the Preserve in decades to come. I can not stand developers who could care less about the serenity of the 1000 acres, but to build and make a profit, please drop the idea.
